About Me
Hi, I'm Rio, a London-based sound engineer working with a variety of acts and venues and in the event production space. I work with both solo artists and bands in concerts, music festivals and theatres. I also work on the preparation and construction of line arrays and PA systems for indoor and outdoor events and festivals. This is alongside my current study of (BSc) Live Sound, Lighting and Performance Technology at the University of Hertfordshire.

Experience
Equipment
I have worked with many industry-standard digital mixing desks, including consoles from DiGiCo; Allen & Heath and Midas. I also have experience using analogue desks from Allen & Heath and Soundcraft. This variety provides me with the capacity to work with the equipment in most venues and approach new equipment with confidence.
Venues
My journey started when I learned sound mixing for school concerts. Since then, I have worked in a number of locations, varying in type and size. Not only in music venues, but also at outdoor festivals, theatres and in a chapel. The knowledge I have gained through these venues means I can proficiently work in unfamiliar spaces and adapt to changing environments.
Some of the venues I've worked with include: The Great Escape Festival: Soundwaves Stage; The Horn St Albans; Brighton Electric and more.
Artists
I work with a variety of acts, including rock and metal bands, pop artists and singer-songwriters. I've also had the privilege of working with horn and string sections.

Some of the artists I've worked with include: The Belair Lip Bombs; Katja Macabre; Geoff Berrisford; and others.
